We
are the Niagara Region chapter of the International Brotherhood of Electrical
Workers. We are inside and outside construction, maintenance, manufacturing,
marine, communication electricians and linesmen.
Union dues for 2012 are $35.70 / month
General Meeting
Our general monthly meetings, which are held on the first Wednesday of
every month, are now located at the Canadian Corps, 7 Clairmont Street,
in Thorold. General Membership meetings now start at 7:00pm.

We are pleased to provide for you this very important document called the "Occupational Health Risks for Electrical Workers" provided by our friends at the IHSA (formally CSAO.)
Using the mortality reports produced in 2008 (Ontario IBEW Construction Locals Mortality Study 1995 to 2005) we have been able to bring you this document with information that is particular to IBEW Construction Workers in Ontario.
The document is four (4) pages in length:
The first being the cover page identifying Electrical Workers (I would like to thank Local 1687 for allowing us to use one of their members for the picture)
The second is information for the worker: How to protect your health performing various tasks that prove to be "occupationally speaking" risky to our health.
The third and fourth pages are for the worker's physician. It gives the physician the disease and hazard agents and the diagnostic criteria that is particular to Electrical Workers.
